The Richest Man in Babylon



 In the previous post, I’ve mentioned the basic principle of accumulating money. Therefore, I would like to give a clearer details about the five principles of making a fortune. The first law of gold says that “Gold comes gladly and in increasing quantity to any man who put by not less than one-tenth of his earnings to create an estate for his fortune and that of his family” It means that in order to accumulate more and more money, we have to save a consistent among of money periodically. Making money have money baby is the safest way to make a fortune; however it takes l lot of time. The second low of gold says that ”Gold labors diligently and contentedly for the wise owner who finds for it profitable employment, multiplying even as the flocks of field” It means if we want to speed up the process of accumulating money, we can’t just put money there waiting them to grow. Instead we have to find out the most efficient way to gain money. So, as the owner of such a fortune, we must know the most profitable way to multiply our asset. The third low of gold says that ”Gold clings to the protection of the cautions owner who invests it under the advice of men wise in its handling” It means that handling money with cautions would the money stay with you. We need to seek for the chance of making money, using the cautious decision making, analysis before we invest our money. The forth low of gold says that “Gold slips from the men who invests them in businesses or purposes with which he is not familiar or which are not approved by those skills in its keep” It talks about when we decide to invest our money, making sure the targeted markets are the ones familiar to us. Don’t venture our money into the fields which we are not that familiar with. Also, seeking the men who is wise in some specific fields is a cautious way to invest your money. The fifth low of gold is somehow alike the forth; it says that “Gold flees the man who would force it to impossible earnings or who follows the alluring advice of tricksters and schemes or who trusts it to his own inexperience and romantic desires in investment” It points out the most important principle of investing money. We can’t possess the ideas about getting rich over a night, and we can’t make our imaginable desires of making fortune jeopardize our asset. Remember, the small return on the investment is always more desirable than risks. Making money is like running a company. We don’t need any careless attitude or romantic ideas to deal with things; we don’t gamble with our money. All in all, everyone can make a fortune as long as we follow the five lows of gold.
