About the midterm presentations...

Dear all,

Here are the important details for your presentations, including the place, time, and order of your presentations. And, I have a new idea to conduct our midterm presentations!

1. I'll divide you into two groups and proceed simultaneously in room 601-1 (the Learning Common) 602-2 (Reading Lab)  simultaneously. My two research assistants will stay in both rooms to video record your presentations.

2. Please upload your slides on MOODLE by Tuesday night (11/16), 11:00pm. But still, come to class by 9:00 am, so we can begin by 9:10 sharp.

2. Each person has 10 minutes to present along with your slides or whatever materials you'd like to include to facilitate your presentation.

3. Each person has a Q&A session (for about 2 minutes), with all members raising questions and the presenter responding. All shall be done in English. Higher evaluation will be given to the group that shows good interaction dynamics.

4. Once the recordings are done, we will upload them on Cloud for you all to view if you are interested in some topics presented by your friends in the other classroom.

5. Evaluation sheets will be distributed before the presentations begin. So please listen attentively to each of your friends' presentations so that you can comment, ask questions, and give a score on each criterion.

6. Please come back to room 302 after all presentations are done. I'll return your draft 2 for essay 2.

7. Please upload your draft 3 of essay 1 on MOODLE by 11/17, 12 midnight.

Thank you so much for your cooperation, and GOOD LUCK on all your midterm exams!
